Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Provoking Shaytan

Mutarrif (RA) reported that his father said, "I went in the delegation of the Banu 'Amir (RA) to the Prophet (peace be upon him). They said, 'You are our master.' He said, 'The Master is Allah.' They said, 'The best of us in excellence and the greatest of us in generosity.' He said, 'Say what you like, but do not let Shaytan provoke you.'" (Al-Adab Al-Mufrad, Book 9, Hadith 56) Honouring or respecting someone does not mean elevating their status, since Allah swt is the Most High, Most Merciful. He alone deserves our praise and when we elevate another to His state, it is Shaytan.

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Forgiveness

Thawban (RA), the freed slave of Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him), narrated that: Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said: "When Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) wanted to turn from his Salat, he would seek forgiveness from Allah three times, then say: (Allahumma Antas-Salam, wa minkas-salam, tabarakta ya dhal-jalali wal-Ikram) 'O Allah! You are the One free of defects and perfection is from You. Blessed are You, O Possesor of Majesty and Honor.'" (Jami`at-Tirmidhi, Vol. 1, Book 2, Hadith 152) Alhamdulillah for the mercy of being able to seek forgiveness for our errors and be told how to do so. Save this, share it and seek forgiveness regularly. May Allah accept all our efforts - Ameen!

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Double Reward

Narrated Abu Burda's (RA) father: Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said "Three persons will have a double reward: 1. A Person from the people of the scriptures who believed in his prophet (Jesus or Moses) and then believed in the Prophet (peace be upon him) Muhammad (i.e. has embraced Islam). 2. A slave who discharges his duties to Allah and his master. 3. A master of a woman-slave who teaches her good manners and educates her in the best possible way (the religion) and manumits her and then marries her." (Sahih al-Bukhari, Vol. 1, Book 3, Hadith 39)

Today's inspiring Hadith is about Feeding Others

Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Amr (RA): That the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "(All of you) worship Ar-Rahman, feed others, spread the (greeting of) Salam, then you will enter Paradise in security." (Jami`at-Tirmidhi, Book 25, Hadith 72)

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Sincerity

Narrated Ibn `Umar (RA): Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said, "If a slave is honest and faithful to his master and worships his Lord (Allah) in a perfect manner, he will get a double reward." (Sahih al-Bukhari, Vol. 3, Book 49, Hadith 30)

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Prostration

It was narrated from Al-'Abbas bin 'Abdul Muttalib (RA) that he heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: "When a person prostates, he prostates on seven part of the body: His face, his hands, his knees and his feet." (Sahih Muslim, Book 4, Hadith 262) Alhamdulillah, may all our limbs testify to our obedience and worship of Allah swt.

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Marriage

It was narrated from Aishah (RA) that: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: “Marriage is part of my sunnah, and whoever does not follow my sunnah has nothing to do with me. Get married, for I will boast of your great numbers before the nations. Whoever has the means, let him get married, and whoever does not, then he should fast for it will diminish his desire.” (Sunan Ibn Majah, Vol. 3, Book 9, Hadith 1846) May Allah bless all those who are married and who are seeking to get married.

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Piety

Narrated Kharija bin Zaid bin Thabit: Um Al-`Ala' (RA), an Ansari woman who gave the pledge of allegiance to the Prophet (peace be upon him) said to me, "The emigrants were distributed amongst us by drawing lots and we got in our share `Uthman bin Maz'un. We made him stay with us in our house. Then he suffered from a disease which proved fatal when he died and was given a bath and was shrouded in his clothes, Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) came ane I said, 'May Allah be merciful to you, O Abu As-Sa'ib! I testify that Allah has honored you'. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, 'How do you know that Allah has honored him?' I replied, 'O Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him)! Let my father be sacrificed for you! On whom else shall Allah bestow His honor?' The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, 'No doubt, death came to him. By Allah, I too wish him good, but by Allah, I do not know what Allah will do with me though I am Allah

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Desire for Wealth

Ibn Ka'b bin Malik Al-Ansari (RA) narrated from his father, that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Two wolves free among sheep are no more destructive to them than a man's desire for wealth and honour is to his religion." (Jami`at-Tirmidhi, Vol. 4, Book 36, Hadith 73) Beware the temptation of money and respect. True wealth is remembering Allah all the time and being grateful for everything He has blessed you with and honour is only bestowed by Allah, not pursued.

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Saying Good

Abu Hurairah (RA) narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, then let him honor his guest. And whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, then let him say what is good or remain silent." (Jami` at-Tirmidhi, Vol. 4, Book 37, Hadith 2688) Alhamdulillah for all of you! You are our guests and we pray Allah blesses all of you and that you find our efforts of benefit insha'Allah!

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Mosque

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Allah will prepare for him who goes to the mosque (every) morning and in the afternoon (for the congregational prayer) an honorable place in Paradise with good hospitality for (what he has done) every morning and afternoon. (Sahih al-Bukhari, Vol. 1, Book 10, Hadith 56) Alhamdulillah! Try and go to the mosque if you can in the morning and afternoon to join the congregation. Many can fit it in during the lunch break due to the blessing of Zuhr being around the same time. Make the effort and may you all be rewarded!

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Al-Qadar

Aishah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:" Six are cursed, being cursed by Allah and by every Prophet that came: The one who adds to Allah's Book, the one who denies Allah's Qadar, the one who rules with tyranny by which he honors whom Allah has debased, and he dishonors whom Allah has honored, and the one who legalizes what Allah forbade, and the one from my family who legalizes what Allah forbade, and the abandoner of my Sunnah." (Jami`at-Tirmidhi, Vol. 4, Book 32, Hadith 2307) May Allah protect us from being of these six and allow us to be grateful for all His blessings, all we have and for being protected from the above.

Today’s Hadith is about the Importance of Honouring our Elderly

Narrated Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (RA): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Glorifying Allah involves showing honour to a grey-haired Muslim and to one who can expound the Qur'an, but not to one who acts extravagantly regarding it, or turns away from it, and showing honour to a just ruler.” (Sunan Abi Dawud 4843, Book 43, Hadith 71) Our elders aren’t just our parents and grandparents, who we have opportunities to honour every day, but also the elders we don’t know. Those whose hair has turned grey, live in far away communities and some of whom don’t even have anyone to take care of them. Honouring your elders doesn’t just afford them the respect and care they deserve, but also glorifies Allah (swt) in one of the best possible ways. Taking care of the older generation is a beautiful way to show your appreciation to Allah (swt) and show the elderly that they are a loved and welcome part of the Ummah. Our elders have shaped the world around us, paving the way for the lives we li

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Oppressing Others

Narrated `Abdullah bin `Umar (RA): Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said, "A Muslim is a brother of another Muslim, so he should not oppress him, nor should he hand him over to an oppressor. Whoever fulfilled the needs of his brother, Allah will fulfill his needs; whoever brought his (Muslim) brother out of a discomfort, Allah will bring him out of the discomforts of the Day of Resurrection, and whoever screened a Muslim, Allah will screen him on the Day of Resurrection. " ( Sahih al-Bukhari, Vol. 3, Book 46, Hadith 3) A timely reminder that we should all take care of one another. Help those less fortunate than you be it through your money, your time, your actions or your duas. Know that nothing you give is wasted, it will only come back to you tenfold while helping others.

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Purification

'A'isha (RA) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) loved to start from the right-hand side for performing ablution, for combing (the hair) and wearing the shoes. (Sahih Muslim, Book 2, Hadith 83)

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Loving Allah

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas (RA): that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Love Allah for what He nourishes you with of His Blessings, love me due to the love of Allah, and love the people of my house due to love of me." (Jami`at-Tirmidhi, Vol. 1, Book 46, Hadith 3789) Wonderful! Feel the love! Our deen is a religion of love. If you love Allah, then obey Him, fulfil your promise to Him and know that the reward for such love is immense and eternal.

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about the Sudden Glance

Jarir b. 'Abdullah (RA) reported: I asked Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) about the sudden glance (that is cast) on the face (of a non-Mahram). He commanded me that I should turn away my eyes. (Sahih Muslim, Book 38, Hadith 59) A beautiful reminder to guard the eyes and the mercy when giving an accidental look. Alhamdulillah!

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Walking to Prayer

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah (RA) said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'When one of you performs ablution and does it well, then he comes to the mosque with no other motive but prayer and not seeking anything other than the prayer, he does not take one step but Allah raises him in status one degree thereby, and takes away one of his sins, until he enters the mosque. When he enters the mosque he is in a state of prayer so long as he is waiting for the prayer.'" (Sunan Ibn Majah, Vol. 1, Book 4, Hadith 40) SubhanAllah! What a wonderful way to gain extra blessings and with little effort!

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Faith

It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: The (Last) Hour shall not came till the sun rises from the place of its setting And on the day when it rises from the place of its setting even if all the people together affirmed their faith, it would not be of any avail to one who did not believe previously and derived no good out of his belief. (Sahih Muslim, Book 1, Hadith 303) Every day we should reflect on what is coming and what has past. The Hour that is coming where we will be brought to account and the past few hours, past day and what we have done, so we may repent for our sins and seek the forgiveness of the Most Merciful. May Allah help us all prepare for the Last Day - Ameen !

Today’s Beautiful Hadith is about Performing Prayer

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah (RA) that: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "A Muslim does not regularly attend the mosques to perform prayer and remember Allah, but Allah feels happy with him just as the family of one who is absent feels happy when he comes back to them."  (Sunan Ibn Majah, Book 4, Hadith 66) We will all return to Allah, so turn to Allah while you can and know that He is ready to welcome you always!
