Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Fajr

Narrated `Aisha (RA): After offering the Sunna of the Fajr prayer, the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to talk to me, if I happen to be awake; otherwise he would lie down till the Iqama call was proclaimed (for the Fajr prayer). (Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 19, Hadith 40)

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Dua before Sleeping

It was narrated from 'Abdullah (RA) that: whenever the Prophet (peace be upon him) went to his bed, he would put his hand - meaning his right hand - beneath his cheek then say: "Allahumma qini 'adhabaka yawm tab'athu - [or: tajma'u] - 'ibadaka (O Allah, save me from Your punishment on the Day when You resurrect - or gather - Your slaves)." (Sunan Ibn Majah, Book 34, Hadith 51)

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Friday Khutba

Narrated Abu Huraira (RA): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "When it is a Friday, the angels stand at the gate of the mosque and keep on writing the names of the persons coming to the mosque in succession according to their arrivals. The example of the one who enters the mosque in the earliest hour is that of one offering a camel (in sacrifice). The one coming next is like one offering a cow and then a ram and then a chicken and then an egg respectively. When the Imam comes out (for Jumua prayer) they (i.e. angels) fold their papers and listen to the Khutba." (Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 11, Hadith 53)

Narrated Ubayy bin Ka'b (RA): "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) met Jibra'il and said: 'O Jibra'il! I have been sent to an illiterate nation among whom are the elderly woman, the old man, the boy and the girl, and the man who cannot read a book at all.' He said: 'O Muhammad (pbuh)! Indeed the Qur'an was revealed in seven modes.'" (Jami`at-Tirmidhi, Book 46, Hadith 3196)

Abu Hurairah (RA) narrated that: When supplicating for the newlywed, the Prophet (peace be upon him) would say: (Barak Allahu laka wa baraka alaik, wa jama'a bainakuma fi khair.) "May Allah bless you and send blessings upon you, and bring goodness between you." (Jami`at-Tirmidhi, Book 11, Hadith 12)

Narrated Anas bin Malik (RA): Once the Prophet (peace be upon him) entered the Mosque and saw a rope hanging in between its two pillars. He said, "What is this rope?" The people said, "This rope is for Zainab who, when she feels tired, holds it (to keep standing for the prayer.)" The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Don't use it. Remove the rope. You should pray as long as you feel active, and when you get tired, sit down." (Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 19, Hadith 31)

Narrated 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud (RA): "Allah has not created in the heavens nor in the earth what is more magnificent than Ayat Al-Kursi." Sufyan said: "Because Ayat Al-Kursi is the Speech of Allah, and Allah's Speech is greater than Allah's creation of the heavens and the earth." (Jami`at-Tirmidhi, Book 45, Hadith 3122)

Narrated Jabir bin `Abdullah (RA): The Prophet (peace be upon him) used to stand by a stem of a date-palm tree (while delivering a sermon). When the pulpit was placed for him we heard that stem crying like a pregnant she-camel till the Prophet (peace be upon him) got down from the pulpit and placed his hand over it. (Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 11, Hadith 42)

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about the Parable

Narrated Abu Musa Al-Ash'ari (RA): that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) narrated: "The parable of the believer who recites the Qur'an is that of a citron, its fragrance is nice and its taste is nice. The parable of the believer who does not recite the Qur'an is that of a date, it has no smell but its taste is sweet. The parable of the hypocrite who recites the Qur'an is that of basil, its fragrance is nice but its taste is bitter. The parable of the hypocrite who does not recite the Qur'an is that of the colocynth, its smell is better and its taste is bitter.'" (Jami`at-Tirmidhi, Book 44, Hadith 3104)

Today’s Beautiful Hadith is about the Zuhr Prayer

`Abdullah bin As-Sa'ib RA reported: The Messenger of Allah (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) used to perform four Rak`ah prayer after the declining of the sun before Zuhr prayer and would say, "This is an hour at which the gates of heaven are opened, and I like that my good deeds should rise to heaven at that time. " (Tirmidhi)

It was narrated from Abu Na'amah (RA) that: 'Abdullah bin Mughaffal (RA) heard his son say: "O Allah, I ask You for the white palace on the right-hand side of Paradise, when I enter it." He said: "O my son, ask Allah for Paradise and seek refuge with Him from Hell, for I heard the Messenger of Allah (saas) say: 'There will be people who will transgress in supplication.'" (Sunan Ibn Majah, Book 34, Hadith 38)

She said: "So we were like that, when we heard the clanging of weapons. He said: 'Who is this?' So he said: 'Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas.' So the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'What has brought you?' Sa'd said: 'Fear for the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) came upon me, so I came to protect him.' So the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) supplicated for him, then slept." (Jami`at-Tirmidhi, Book 49, Hadith 4122)

Narrated Abu Huraira (RA): At the time of the Fajr prayer the Prophet (peace be upon him) asked Bilal, "Tell me of the best deed you did after embracing Islam, for I heard your footsteps in front of me in Paradise." Bilal replied, "I did not do anything worth mentioning except that whenever I performed ablution during the day or night, I prayed after that ablution as much as was written for me." (Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 19, Hadith 30)

It was narrated from 'Amr bin Sh'uaib (RA) from his father, that his grandfather said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) forbade plucking out white hairs and said: 'It is the light of the believer.'" (Sunan Ibn Majah, Book 33, Hadith 66)

Narrated Yusayrah (RA), mother of Yasir: The Prophet (peace be upon him) commanded them (the women emigrants) to be regular (in remembering Allah by saying): "Allah is most great"; "Glory be to the King, the Holy"; "there is no god but Allah"; and that they should count them on fingers, for they (the fingers) will be questioned and asked to speak. It was narrated from Jabir bin ‘Abdullah (RA) that he heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) say: “When a man enters his house, and remembers Allah when he enters and when he eats, Satan says: ‘You have no place to stay and no supper.’ If he enters his house and does not remember Allah upon entering, Satan says: ‘You have found a place to stay.’ And if he does not remember Allah when he eats, (Satan) says: ‘You have found a place to stay and supper.’” (Sunan Ibn Majah, Book 34, Hadith 61)

Anas bin Malik (RA) narrated that the Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said: "The hour shall not be established until time is constricted, and the year is like a month, a month is like the week, and the week is like the day, and the day is like the hour, and the hour is like the flare of the fire." It was narrated from Salih bin Khawwat (RA), from Sahl bin Abi Hathmah (RA) that: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) led them in offering the fear prayer. Some formed a row behind him and some formed a row facing the enemy. He led them in praying one rak'ah, then they moved away and the others came, and he led them in praying one rak'ah, then they got up and each (group) made up the other rak'ah. (Sunan an-Nasa'i, Book 18, Hadith 8)

Narrated Hisham's (RA) father: Ibn `Umar (RA) said, "Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said, 'Do not pray at the time of sunrise and at the time of sunset.' "Ibn `Umar said, "Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said, 'If the edge of the sun appears (above the horizon) delay the prayer till it becomes high, and if the edge of the sun disappears, delay the prayer till it sets (disappears completely).' " (Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 9, Hadith 59)

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "None of you should wish for death. Either he is a doer of good, so perhaps he may do more good, or he is an evildoer but perhaps he will give up his evil ways." (Sunan an-Nasa'i, Book 21, Hadith 10)

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Were it not that I would impose too much difficulty on my Ummah, I would have commanded them to delay 'Isha' and to use the Siwak for every prayer." (Sunan an-Nasa'i, Book 6, Hadith 539)

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Righteousness

Abu Huraira (RA) reported Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) as saying: He who called (people) to righteousness, there would be reward (assured) for him like the rewards of those who adhered to it, without their rewards being diminished in any respect. And he who called (people) to error, he shall have to carry (the burden) of its sin, like those who committed it, without their sins being diminished in any respect. (Sahih Muslim, Book 47, Hadith 30)

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Bounty of Allah

Narrated Sahl bin Sa`d (RA): There was a woman amongst us who had a farm and she used to sow Silq (a kind of vegetable) on the edges of streams in her farm. On Fridays she used to pull out the Silq from its roots and put the roots in a utensil. Then she would put a handful of powdered barley over it and cook it. The roots of the Silq were a substitute for meat. After finishing the Jumah prayer we used to greet her and she would give us that food which we would eat with our hands, and because of that meal, we used to look forward to Friday. (Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 11, Hadith 62)

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Honor

Abu Hurairah (RA) narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, then let him honor his guest. And whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, then let him say what is good or remain silent." (Jami`at-Tirmidhi, Vol. 4, Book 37, Hadith 2688)

SAY "NO" TO XMAS & GREGORIAN NEW YEAR CELEBRATION AND EATING IDOLATRY FESTIVAL FOOD.

An ignorant Muslim would be using this below Quranic verse to support his claims on eating idolatry festival food. Quran 60:8 Say's "Allah does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion and do not expel you from your homes -  from being righteous toward them and acting justly toward them. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly." No where in this verse you were asked to eat Christmas/new year/Ogun ajobo/ekuru ati akara ogun or any food prepared for an idol festival as Qur'an 2:173 QURAN say He has only forbidden to you dead animals, blood, the flesh of swine, and that which has been dedicated to other than Allah . But whoever is forced [by necessity], neither desiring [it] nor transgressing [its limit], there is no sin upon him. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. QURAN say Quran 5:3 "Prohibited to you are dead animals, blood, the flesh of swine, and that which has been dedicated to other than Allah, and [those animals] ki

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Power of Allah

Narrated 'Abdullah (RA): "A Jew came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and said: 'O Muhammad (peace be upon him)! Allah will seize the heavens upon a finger, the mountains upon a finger, the earths upon a finger, and the rest of creation upon a finger. Then He says: 'I am the King.'" He said: 'So the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) laughed until his molars were visible. He said: "They made not a just estimate of Allah such as is due to Him (39:67)." (Jami`at-Tirmidhi, Book 47, Hadith 3546)
