ISLAM THE SOLUTION TO MANKIND

Narrated Abu Hurayrah (RA): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "There is no disease that Allah has created except that He has also created its treatment." (Sahih Bukhari, Book 76, Hadith 1)

Anas Ibn Malik (RA) reported: Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) used to say, " O Allah, I seek refuge in thee from incapacity, indolence (laziness), from cowardice, from senility, from miserliness (greediness), and I seek refuge in thee from the torment of the grave and from the trial of life and death." (Sahih Muslim, Book 48, hadith 68)

Abu Hurayrah (RA) reported: Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said: "The supplication of every one of you is granted if he does not grow impatient and says: I supplicated but it was not granted." (Sahih Muslim, Book 48, Hadith 125)

Abu Hurayrah (RA) reported: Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) saying that Allah, the exalted and Glorious, stated: "I am near to the thought of my servant as he thinks about Me, and I am with him as he remembers Me. And if he remembers Me in his heart, I also remember him in My heart, and if he remembers Me in assembly, I remember him in assembly better than his (remembrance), and if he draws near Me by the span of a palm, I draw near him by the cubit, and if he draws near Me by the cubit, I draw near by the space (covered by) two hands, and if he walks towards me, I rush towards him." (Sahih Muslim 2675, Book 48, Hadith 1)

It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah (RA) said: I heard Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) himself say, "The Mu'athin's sins will be forgiven as far as his voice reaches, and every wet and dry thing will pray for forgiveness for him. For the one who attends the prayer, twenty-five Hasanat (good deeds) will be recorded, and it will be his expiation (for sins committed) between them (the two prayers)." (Sunan Ibn Majah, Book 3, Hadith 19)

Ibn Mas'ud (RA) reported: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Envy is permitted only in two cases: A man whom Allah gives wealth, and he disposes of it rightfully, and a man to whom Allah gives knowledge which he applies and teaches it." [Bukhari and Muslim] (Riyadh As-Salihin, Book 13, Hadith 2)

Mu'awiyah (RA) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "When Allah wishes good for someone, He bestows upon him the understanding of Deen" (Riyadh As-Salihin, Book 13, Hadith 1)

Yahya (RA) related to me from Malik from Sumayy, the mawla of Abu Bakr (RA), from Abu Salih as-Samman from Abu Hurayra (RA):  The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever says, 'Glory be to Allah and with His praise' (Subhana'llah wa bi-hamdihi) one hundred times in a day will have his wrong actions taken away from him, even if they are as abundant as the foam on the sea."  (Muwatta Malik, Book 15, Hadith 21)

Narrated Aisha (RA):  Some Bedouin people came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and said: "Do you kiss your children?" He said: "Yes". He said: "But we, by Allah, never kiss (our children)". The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'What can I do if Allah has taken away mercy from you?'"  (Sunan Ibn Majah 3665, Book 33, Hadith 9)

Narrated Kathir ibn Qays (RA): Kathir ibn Qays (RA) said: I was sitting with Abu Darda (RA)' in the mosque of Damascus. A man came to him and said: Abud Darda, I have come to you from the town of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) for a tradition that I have heard you relate from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). I have come for no other purpose. He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: If anyone travels on a road in search of knowledge, Allah will cause him to travel on one of the roads of Paradise. The angels will lower their wings in their great pleasure with one who seeks knowledge, the inhabitants of the heavens and the Earth and the fish in the deep waters will ask forgiveness for the learned man. The superiority of the learned man over the devout is like that of the moon, on the night when it is full, over the rest of the stars. The learned are the heirs of the Prophets, and the Prophets leave neither dinar nor dirham, leaving only

Say, [O Muhammad], "Travel through the land and observe how He began creation. Then Allah will produce the final creation. Indeed Allah, over all things, is competent." Qur’an 29:20

Narrated from 'Abdullah bin 'Abdur-RAhman bin Abu Sa'sa'ah (RA): His father who was under the care of Abu Sa'eed (RA) said: "Abu Sa'eed said to me: If you are in the desert, raise your voice when you say the Athan, for I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: "No jinn, human, tree, or rock will hear it but it will bear witness for you." (Sunan Ibn Majah 723, Book 3, Hadith 18)

Narrated Hudhaifa (RA): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said about Ad-Dajjal that he would have water and fire with him: (what would seem to be) fire would be cold water and (what would seem to be) water would be fire. (Sahih Bukhari 7130, Book 92, Hadith 76)

Narrated Abu Musa Al-Ash'ari (RA): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) narrated: "The parable of the believer who recites the Qur'an is that of a citron, its fragrance is nice and its taste is nice. The parable of the believer who does not recite Qur'an is that of a date, it has no smell but its taste is sweet. The parable of the hypocrite who recites Qur'an is that of basil, its fragrance is nice but its taste is bitter. The parable of the hypocrite who does not recite the Qur'an is that of the colocynth, its smell is bitter and its taste is bitter." (Jami'at-Tirmidhi, Book 42, Hadith 2865)

Abu Hurayrah (RA) reported that: Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) forbade a transaction determined by throwing stones, and the type which involves some uncertainty. (Sahih Muslim, Book 21, Hadith 8)

Abu Usaid al-Ansari (RA) reported that: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "When any of you enters the mosque he should invoke blessing on the Prophet (peace be upon him) and then he should say: O Allah, open to me the gates of thy mercy. And when he goes out, he should say: O Allah, I ask thee out of Thine abundance."  (Sunan Abi Dawud 465, Book 2, Hadith 75)

On the authority of 'Uqbah Ibn Amir (RA): I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: "Your Lord delights at a shepherd who, on the peak of a mountain crag, gives the call to prayer and prays. Then Allah (glorified and exalted be He) say: Look at this servant of Mine, he gives the call to prayer and performs the prayers; he is in awe of Me. I have forgiven My servant [his sins] and have admitted him to Paradise." It was related by an-Nasa'i with a good chain of authorities. (Hadith Qudsi, Hadith 7)

Anas Ibn Malik (RA) reported that: A desert Arab said to Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) : "When would be the last hour?" Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said: What preparation have you made for that? Thereupon he said: The love of Allah and of His Messenger (that is my preparation for the Last Hour) (for the Day of Resurrection). Thereupon he (the Holy Prophet) said: You would be along with one whom you love." (Sahih Muslim, Vol. 1, Book 45, Hadith 206)

Narrated Mughira bin Shu'ba (RA): When I came to Najran, they (the Christians of Najran) asked me: "You read: O sister of Harun" (referring to Hadrat Maryam (as)) in the Qur'an) whereas Moses was born much before Jesus. When I came back to Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) I asked him about that, whereupon he said: "The (people of the old age) used to give names (to people) after the names of Apostles and pious persons who had gone before them." (Sahih Muslim, Book 38, Hadith 13)

It was narrated that Anas bin Malik (R) said: The messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)  said: 'There are three things, whoever attains them will find therein the sweetness of faith: When Allah [SWT], the Mighty and Sublime, and His Messenger  (peace be upon him)  are dearer to him than all else; when he loves for the sake of Allah [SWT] and hates for the sake of Allah [SWT]; and when a huge fire be lit and he fall into it, than associate anything with Allah [SWT].'"  (Sunan an-Nasa'i, Book 47, Hadith 3)

It was narrated that Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri (RA) said:  The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Soon the best wealth of a Muslim will be the sheep which follows in the mountain peaks and places where rainfall is to be found, fleeing with his religion from the tribulations." (Sunan an-Nasa'i, Book 47, Hadith 52)

On the authority of Ibn Hurayrah (RA): I heard Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) say: "What I have forbidden you, avoid. What I have ordered you [to do], do as much of it as you can. For verily it was only the excessive questioning and their disagreeing with their Prophets that destroyed [the nations] who were before you." [Bukhari and Muslim] (40 Hadith Nawawi 9, Hadith 9)

Narrated Nu'man bin Bashir (RA): Allah's Messenger Messenger (peace be upon him) said: "Indeed the supplication is the worship." Then he recited: "And your Lord said: Invoke me, I will respond to you." (Sunan Ibn Majah, Vol. 5, Book 34, Hadith 2)

It was narrated that 'Esa bin Talhah (RA) said: I heard Mu'awiyah bin Abu Sufyan (RA) say that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "The Mu'athin will have the longest necks of all people on the Day of Resurrection." (Sunan Ibn Majah, Book 3, Hadith 20)

Anas bin Malik RA reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "Allah is pleased with His slave who says: `Al-hamdu lillah (praise be to Allah)' when he takes a morsel of food and drinks a draught of water." (Muslim)

Abu Hurayrah (RA) reported that: Allah's Apostle (peace be upon him) said: "While a man was going on his way, he felt himself thirsty severely. He found a well and he went down in it. He drank water and came out. Suddenly he saw a dog panting and eating soil due to thirst. The man said (to himself) “This dog must have reached the same condition due to thirst as I had reached. So he went down into the well, filled his sock with water, held it with his mouth and came up. He supplied water to the dog. Allah appreciated this and forgave him.” They asked, “Apostle of Allah (peace be upon him), Is there any reward for us for these beasts? He replied, For every cool liver there is a reward.” (Sunan Abi Dawud 2550, Book 15, Hadith 74)

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever performs wudu' and does it well, then sets out for the Masjid and finds that the people have already prayed, Allah will decree for him a reward like that of those who attended (the prayer), without reducing the slightest from their reward." (Sunan an-Nasa'i, Vol. 1, Book 10, Hadith 79)

Narrated Jabir (RA): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "I entered Paradise and saw a palace and asked whose palace is this? They (the Angels) said, "This palace belongs to `Umar ibn Al-Khattab' I intended to enter it, and nothing stopped me except my knowledge about your sense of Ghira (self-respect (O `Umar)." `Umar (RA) said, "O Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him)! Let my father and mother be sacrificed for you! O Allah's Prophet (peace be upon him)! How dare I think of my Ghira (self-respect) being offended by you?" (Sahih al-Bukhari, Vol. 1, Book 67, Hadith 159)

Narrated Anas ibn Malik (RA): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "The Last Hour will not come until people vie with one another about mosques." (Sunan Abi Dawud 449, Book 2, Hadith 59)

Abu Musa (RA) reported that: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "No one - nothing - is more patient in enduring an injury which he hears than Allah Almighty. They claim that He has a son, and yet He still cures them and provides for them." (Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 389 Book 21, Hadith 5)
