Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Self-respect

Narrated Jabir (RA): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "I entered Paradise and saw a palace and asked whose palace is this? They (the Angels) said, "This palace belongs to `Umar ibn Al-Khattab' I intended to enter it, and nothing stopped me except my knowledge about your sense of Ghira (self-respect (O `Umar)." `Umar (RA) said, "O Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him)! Let my father and mother be sacrificed for you! O Allah's Prophet (peace be upon him)! How dare I think of my Ghira (self-respect) being offended by you?"

Source: BBC New Malian striker Frederic Kanoute has splashed out more than US$700,000 to buy his own mosque in Spain. The mosque is located in the Spanish city of Seville, where Kaounte plays his club football for Sevilla. The privately owned mosque was due to be sold after a contract to use the premises by the local Muslim population had expired. But Kanoute, one of the finalists for the 2007 BBC African Footballer of the Year award, stepped in to purchase the building. The Islamic Community of Spain confirmed that a last-minute appeal was made to Kanoute after the mosque had been put up for sale. Prophet Musa (Moses) Peace be upon him

The Prophet Musa (Moses)suffered terribly from his people and endured much for sake of Allah. Abdullah Ibn Umar narrated: 'One the Prophet Muhammad SAW distributed something among his companions, a man said this distribution has not been done with justice seeking Allah's countenance,i went to the Prophet SAW and told him of what the man said, he became so angry that i saw the signs of anger on his face , then the Prophet Muhammad SAW said: May ALLAH bestow his Mercy on Prophet Musa (Moses)for he was harmed more in worse manner than this yet he endured patiently. The Children of Israel mistreated Prophet Musa (Moses)a lot. His agony was not limited to mutiny, stupidity, chattering ignorance and idolatry it exceeded this and went as far as inflicting personal harm on him.
