ISLAM THE SOLUTION TO MANKIND

It was narrated from Salamah bin ‘Ubaidullah bin Mihsan Al-Ansari (RA) that his father said: “The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: ‘Whoever among you wakes up physically healthy, feeling safe and secure within himself, with food for the day, it is as if he acquired the whole world.’” (Sunan Ibn Majah, Vol. 5, Book 37, Hadith 4280)

Anas bin Malik (RA) narrated that: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever has dried dates, then let him break the fast with that, and whoever does not, then let him break the fast with water, for indeed water is purifying." (Jami`at-Tirmidhi, Book 8, Hadith 13) Charity does not decrease wealth

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah (RA) said: "A man said: 'O Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), which kind of charity is best? He said: 'Giving charity when you are in good health, and feeling stingy, hoping for a long life and fearing poverty."' (Sunan an-Nasa'i, Book 23, Hadith 2543) Charity does not decrease wealth.

Narrated Abu Huraira (RA): Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said, "The poor person is not the one who goes round the people and ask them for a mouthful or two (of meals) or a date or two but the poor is that who has not enough (money) to satisfy his needs and whose condition is not known to others, that others may give him something in charity, and who does not beg of people." *(Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 24, Hadith 81)*

Narrated Abu Huraira (RA): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Whoever established prayers on the night of Qadr out of sincere faith and hoping for a reward from Allah, then all his previous sins will be forgiven; and whoever fasts in the month of Ramadan out of sincere faith, and hoping for a reward from Allah, then all his previous sins will be forgiven." (Sahih al-Bukhari, Vol. 3, Book 30, Hadith 11) Are you looking forward to the night of Qadr? Tonight is the 23rd night of Ramadan and could be Laylatul Qadr. This night could be the equivalent of 1000 months. *NOTE* To those of us that are still doubting this *Laylatul-Qadr* must *FEAR ALLAH SWT*. Last day of December is totally Useless *(it's Shrik)* comparing it to *Laylatul-Qdar* Please let us all stop it and stop deceiving people into Shrik. May almighty ALLAH Grant us access to the *BEST* night. Aameen

Narrated Jabir bin `Abdullah (RA): Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) was on a journey and saw a crowd of people, and a man was being shaded (by them). He asked, "What is the matter?" They said, "He (the man) is fasting." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "It is not righteousness that you fast on a journey." (Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 30, Hadith 53)

Abu Hurairah (RA) narrated that: the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever fasts Ramadan and stands (in the night prayer) for it out of faith and seeking a reward (from Allah), he will be forgiven what preceded of his sins. Whoever stands (in the night prayer) on the Night of Al-Qadr out of faith and seeking a reward (from Allah), he will be forgiven what preceded of his sins." (Jami`at-Tirmidhi, Book 8, Hadith 2) Make the most of the last 10 days, may all your duas be accepted (Ameen). Tonight is the *1st Odd* night in the last 10 nights of Ramadan and could be Laylut-ul-Qadr. *Donating on Laylut-ul-Qadr multiplies your rewards*

Narrated Ibn `Abbas (RA): The Prophet (peace be upon him) never fasted a full month except the month of Ramadan, and he used to fast till one could say, "By Allah, he will never stop fasting," and he would abandon fasting till one would say, "By Allah, he will never fast." (Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 30, Hadith 78)

It was narrated that 'Abdullah said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Whoever among you can afford to get married, let him do so, and whoever cannot afford it should fast, for it will be a restraint (Wija) for him."' (Sunan an-Nasa'i, Book 22, Hadith 152)

It was narrated that Raja bin Haiwah (RA) said: "Abu Umamah Al-Bahili (RA) narrated to me: 'I said: O Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), tell me of something by which Allah will benefit me. He said: Take to fasting, for there is nothing like it."' (Sunan an-Nasa'i, Book 22, Hadith 132)

Narrated `Umar bin Al-Khattab (RA): Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said, "When night falls from this side and the day vanishes from this side and the sun sets, then the fasting person should break his fast." (Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 30, Hadith 61)

Narrated `Abdullah (RA): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "It is a bad thing that some of you say, 'I have forgotten such-and-such verse of the Qur'an,' for indeed, he has been caused (by Allah) to forget it. So you must keep on reciting the Qur'an because it escapes from the hearts of men faster than camel do." (Sahih al-Bukhari, Vol. 6, Book 66, Hadith 54)

Narrated Anas (RA): Zaid bin Thabit (RA) said, "We took the Suhur with the Prophet (peace be upon him). Then he stood for the prayer." I asked, "What was the interval between the Suhur and the Adhan?" He replied, "The interval was sufficient to recite fifty verses of the Qur'an." (Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 30, Hadith 30)

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Whoever does not give up forged speech and evil actions, Allah is not in need of his leaving his food and drink (i.e. Allah will not accept his fasting.)" (Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 30, Hadith 13)

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: The best medical treatment you apply is cupping. (Sahih Sunan Abi Dawud, Book 29, Hadith 3)

Did you know that Hijama (cupping) is one of the most recommended Sunnahs by the Prophet (peace be upon him). The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "If anyone has himself cupped (Hijama) on the 17th, 19th and 21st, it will be a remedy for every disease." (Sunan Abi Dawud 3861)

It was narrated from Abu Al-Ahwas (RA) that 'Abdullah (RA) said: "Allah, may He be exalted, said: 'Fasting is for me and I shall reward for it. The fasting person has two moments of joy: When he breaks his fast and when he meets his Lord. And the smell that comes from the mouth of the fasting person is better before Allah than the fragrance of musk."' ' (Sunan an-Nasa'i, Book 22, Hadith 123)

Narrated Sahl bin Sa`d (RA): Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said, "The people will remain on the right path as long as they hasten the breaking of the fast." (Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 30, Hadith 64)

Narrated `Aisha (RA) (the wife of the Prophet): Hamza bin `Amr Al-Aslami asked the Prophet (peace be upon him), "Should I fast while traveling?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) replied, "You may fast if you wish, and you may not fast if you wish." (Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 30, Hadith 50)

Narrated Abu Huraira (RA): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "If somebody eats or drinks forgetfully then he should complete his fast, for what he has eaten or drunk, has been given to him by Allah." (Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 30, Hadith 40)

Narrated Sahl (RA): Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said, "I and the one who looks after an orphan will be like this in Paradise," showing his middle and index fingers and separating them. (Sahih al-Bukhari , Book 68, Hadith 53)

Narrated `Abdullah (RA): The Prophet (peace be upon him) fasted for days continuously; the people also did the same but it was difficult for them. So, the Prophet (peace be upon him) forbade them (to fast continuously for more than one day). They said, "But you fast without break (no food was taken in the evening or in the morning)." The Prophet (peace be upon him) replied, "I am not like you, for I am provided with food and drink (by Allah). (Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 30, Hadith 31)

Narrated Sahl (RA): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "There is a gate in Paradise called Ar-Raiyan, and those who observe fasts will enter through it on the Day of Resurrection and none except them will enter through it. It will be said, 'Where are those who used to observe fasts?' They will get up, and none except them will enter through it. After their entry the gate will be closed and nobody will enter through it." (Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 30, Hadith 6)

Narrated Ibn `Abbas (RA):  A man said to Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him), "My mother died, will it benefit her if I give in charity on her behalf?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) replied in the affirmative. The man said, "I have a garden and I make you a witness that I give it in charity on her behalf." (Sahih al-Bukhari, Vol. 4, Book 55, Hadith 33)

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: ‘Whoever fasts Ramadan out of faith and the hope of reward will be forgiven his previous sins.” (Sunan Ibn Majah, Book 7, Hadith 1710)

It was narrated that Mu'adhbin Jabal (RA) said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) took my hand and said: 'I love you, O Mu'adh!' I said: 'And I love you, O Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him).' Then the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Never forget to say in every prayer: Rabbi a'inni 'ala dhikrika wa shukrika wa husni 'ibadatik (My Lord, help me to remember You, give thanks to You and worship You well.)" (Sunan an-Nasa'I, Book 13, Hadith 125)

Narrated Ibn `Umar (RA): I heard Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) saying, "When you see the crescent (of the month of Ramadan), start fasting, and when you see the crescent (of the month of Shawwal), stop fasting; and if the sky is overcast (and you can't see it) then regard the month of Ramadan as of 30 days." (Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 30, Hadith 10)

Abu Sa'id Khudri (RA) reported Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) as saying:  While I was asleep I saw people being presented to me (in a dream) and they wore shirts and some of these reached up to the breasts and some even beyond them. Then there happened to pass 'Umar b. Khattab (RA) and his shirt had been trailing. They said: Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him), how do you interpret the dream? He said: (As strength of) faith. (Sahih Muslim, Book 44, Hadith 20) Alhamdulillah!

Narrated Abu Huraira (RA): I heard Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) saying, "If there was a river at the door of anyone of you and he took a bath in it five times a day would you notice any dirt on him?" They said, "Not a trace of dirt would be left." The Prophet (peace be upon him) added, "That is the example of the five prayers with which Allah blots out (annuls) evil deeds." (Sahih al-Bukhari, Vol. 1, Book 9, Hadith 7)

Narrated Abu Huraira (RA): Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said, "Your (ordinary) fire is one of 70 parts of the (Hell) Fire." Someone asked, "O Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) This (ordinary) fire would have been sufficient (to torture the unbelievers)," Allah's Apostle (peace be upon him) said, "The (Hell) Fire has 69 parts more than the ordinary (worldly) fire, each part is as hot as this (worldly) fire." (Sahih al-Bukhari, Vol. 4, Book 59, Hadith 75)

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas (RA): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said "Healing is in three things: A gulp of honey, cupping, and branding with fire (cauterization) but I forbid my followers to use (cauterization) branding with fire." (Sahih Bukhari, Book 76, Hadith 3)
