Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Jealousy

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah (RA) that: the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "There is a kind of protective jealousy that Allah loves and a kind that Allah hates. As for that which Allah loves, it is protective jealousy when there are grounds for suspicion. And as for that which He hates, it is protective jealousy when there are no grounds for suspicion." (Sunan Ibn Majah, Book 9, Hadith 2074)

Today's Hadith is about Hands and Prayer

The position of the hands being parallel to the ears is mentioned in this lovely hadith: It was narrated from Malik bin Al-Huwairith (RA) said: "I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), when he started to pray, raise his hands, and when he bowed, and when he raised his head from bowing, until they were parallel with the top of his ears." (Sunan an-Nasa'i, Book 11, Hadith 6)

(Sunan Ibn Majah, Book 1, Hadith 191)

(Sunan an-Nasa'i, Book 4, Hadith 8)

Today's Hadith is about Cupping

Narrated Ibn `Abbas (RA): The Prophet (peace be upon him) was cupped while he was fasting. (Bukhari, Vol. 7, Book 71, Hadith 597) Thank you for being a member of our global community and have a blessed day and just before you go, say Alhamdulillah and start your day by earning blessings

Narrated Ibn `Umar (RA): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Do not swear by your fathers; and whoever wants to swear should swear by Allah." (Bukhari, Vol. 9, Book 93, Hadith 498) _An important reminder about only taking a vow by Allah and not anyone else, only Allah is infallible._

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about False Hair

Narrated Asma (RA): (the daughter of Abu Bakr) Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) has cursed such a lady as artificially lengthening (her or someone else's) hair or gets her hair lengthened. (Bukhari, Vol. 7, Book 72, Hadith 819)

Today’s Beautiful Hadith is about how Salaam began.

'Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Allah created Adam in His picture, sixty cubits (about 30 meters) in height. When He created him, He said (to him), "Go and greet that group of angels sitting there, and listen what they will say in reply to you, for that will be your greeting and the greeting of your offspring." Adam (went and) said, 'As-Salamu alaikum (Peace be upon you).' They replied, 'AsSalamu-'Alaika wa Rahmatullah (Peace and Allah's Mercy be on you) So they increased 'Wa Rahmatullah' The Prophet added 'So whoever will enter Paradise, will be of the shape and picture of Adam Since then the creation of Adam's (offspring) (i.e. stature of human beings is being diminished continuously) to the present time." (Bukhari Vol. 8, Book 74, Hadith 246)

Today’s Beautiful Hadith is about Dhikr of Allah

Narrated Abu Musa (RA): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "The example of the one who celebrates the Praises of his Lord (Allah) in comparison to the one who does not celebrate the Praises of his Lord, is that of a living creature compared to a dead one." (Sahih al-Bukhari 6, Book 80, Hadith 102) Dhikr is something you can do wherever you are and at any time. Do not neglect this simple practice and know that the heart that constantly remembers Allah is remembered by Allah. May Allah swt keep our tongues moist and hearts full with His remembrance.

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Cleanliness

Abu Malik at-Ash'ari (RA) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: Cleanliness is half of faith and al-Hamdu Liliah (Praise be to Allah) fills the scale, and Subhan Allah (Glory be to Allah) and al-Hamdu Liliah (Praise be to Allah) fill up what is between the heavens and the earth, and prayer is a light, and charity is proof (of one's faith) and endurance is a brightness and the Holy Qur'an is a proof on your behalf or against you. All men go out early in the morning and sell themselves, thereby setting themselves free or destroying themselves. (Sahih Muslim, Book 2, Hadith 1)

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Good Fortune

It was narrated from Hakim bin Mu'awiyah (RA) that his paternal uncle Mikhmar bin Mu'awiyah (RA) said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: 'Do not believe in omens, and good fortune is only to be found in three things: A woman, a horse and a house."' (Sunan Ibn Majah, Book 9, Hadith)

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Taking an Oath

Narrated `Abdullah (RA): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Whoever has to take an oath should swear by Allah or remain silent." (i.e. He should not swear by other than Allah). (Bukhari Vol. 3, Book 48, Hadith 844)

Narrated Abu Huraira (RA): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "There is no disease that Allah has created, except that He also has created its treatment." Every ailment has a cure, may Allah bless and give shifaa to all those with illnesses Ameen!

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Kindness

It was narrated from Salman that the: Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Your Lord is Kind and Most Generous, and is too kind to let His slave, if he raises his hands to Him, bring them back empty," or he said "frustrated." (Sunan Ibn Majah, Book 34, Hadith 39) No prayer is in vain. How blessed are we that Allah answers every prayer with either what you desire or something better in the next life. Unanswered prayers are only unanswered to the one who asks and is blind to the response. Maybe there is something better for you or for someone else? Never hesitate to ask your Lord and live in hope of His response. SubhanAllah!

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about the Right Path

Narrated Al-Mughira bin Shu`ba (RA): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Some of my followers will remain victorious (and on the right path) till the Last Day comes, and they will still be victorious." (Sahih al-Bukhari, Vol.4, Book 61, Hadith 144)

I said: 'And I love you, O Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him).' Then the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Never forget to say in every prayer: Rabbi a'inni 'ala dhikrika wa shukrika wa husni 'ibadatik (My Lord, help me to remember You, give thanks to You and worship You well.)" (Sunan an-Nasa'I, Book 13, Hadith 125) It's Friday today. Have you read Surah Al Kahf?

Today's Hadith is about Saying Ameen

Narrated Abu Huraira (RA): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "When the Imam says 'Ameen', then you should all say 'Ameen', for the angels say 'Ameen' at that time, and he whose 'Ameen' coincides with the 'Ameen' of the angels, all his past sins will be forgiven." (Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 80, Hadith 97) Alhamdulillah! Always be ready to say Ameen to the duas of others, remember if you pray for another Muslim, the angels ask the same for you. Earn forgiveness and blessings just from saying Ameen.

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about the Hated Person

Narrated `Aisha (RA): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "The most hated person in the sight of Allah is the most quarrelsome person." (Bukhari Vol. 3, Book 43, Hadith 637) A reminder to avoid arguing. In the grand scheme of your life, your day and your character, it just isn’t worth it. You are better than any disagreement, let it go and let others live their lives with accountability just as you do. Know that Allah sees and hears all. May Allah bless you and give us all patience.

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Trials

Narrated Abu Huraira (RA): Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said, "If Allah wants to do good to somebody, He afflicts him with trials." (Bukhari Vol. 7, Book 70, Hadith 548) Remember when you are going through difficulty that Allah loves you and something better is coming. Allah loves to hear His servant call on Him. Reach out, turn to Allah. He will never forsake you.

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Confusing Salat

Abu Hurairah (RA) narrated that: Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said: "Indeed the Shaitan comes to one of you in his Salat confusing him until he does now know how much he has prayed. When one of you experiences that then let him perform two prostrations while sitting." (Jami`at-Tirmidhi, Vol. 1, Book 2, Hadith 250)

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Sins

Narrated Abu Huraira (RA):  Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said, "Whoever says, 'Subhan Allah wa bihamdihi,' one hundred times a day, will be forgiven all his sins even if they were as much as the foam of the sea. (Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 80, Hadith 100) _What a blessing and mercy this is! Make this a part of your daily practice and insha’Allah wipe away your sins._

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Allah's Mercy

Narrated Abu Huraira (RA): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "When Allah had finished His creation, He wrote over his Throne: 'My Mercy preceded My Anger.'  (Bukhari Vol. 9, Book 93, Hadith 518) An absolutely amazing hadith about hope being more important that fear. Allah’s Mercy is so much that we should live in hope of it. Fear the fire, but know that Allah is all Merciful and repent with all your heart.

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Use of Siwak

Narrated Abu Huraira (RA): Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said, "Were I not afraid that it would be hard on my followers, I would have ordered them to use the siwak (as obligatory, for cleaning the teeth).  (Bukhari Vol. 9, Book 90, Hadith 346) Alhamdulillah that our Prophet SAW has made the religion easy for us to follow, without unnecessary burdens.

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Meeting the Enemy

Narrated `Abdullah bin Abi `Aufa (RA): Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said, "Do not long for meeting your enemy, and ask Allah for safety (from all sorts of evil)."  (Bukhari Vol. 9, Book 90, Hadith 343) A wonderful reminder on seeking Allah’s protection and not desiring conflict or facing those who oppose you. Desire better, to serve Allah in all that you do and avoid quarrelling and fighting.

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Longing for Death

Narrated Anas (RA): If I had not heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) saying, "You should not long for death," I would have longed (for it). (Bukhari Vol. 9, Book 90, Hadith 339) A wonderful reminder for when things seem like they are too much, when tribulations overtake our thinking that we should never long for death. Every day is an opportunity to workshop Allah more, gain more blessings and reward for our struggles. There is the beauty of hope in Islam, embrace it. Know that your Creator hears your every call.

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about The Ruler

Narrated Ma'qil (RA): I heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) saying, "Any man whom Allah has given the authority of ruling some people and he does not look after them in an honest manner, will never feel even the smell of Paradise."  (Bukhari, Vol. 9, Book 89, Hadith 264) Being responsible for a people may seem like a blessing but it is a big responsibility and if justice is not exerted, fairness is not exhibited then it can be a curse. May Allah make us all of the people of Paradise. Ameen!

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Taking Back Gifts

Ibn `Abbas (RA): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "The one who takes back his gift is like a dog swallowing its own vomit, and we (believers) should not act according to this bad example." (Bukhari Vol. 9, Book 86, Hadith 105) When giving gifts is a sunnah, taking them back is reviled. Give with your heart and know that what you will get back is from Allah.
