Ibadan Varsity VC Begs Muslim Community From Tunde Sanni in Ibadan, 08.16.2010 Thisday Newspaper Vice Chancellor of the University of Ibadan, Prof. Olufemi Bamiro on Friday had to abandon official schedules to apologise to the Muslim Community of the institution over the invasion of the university mosque by a Christian student during the weekly Jumat service. The Christian female student, identified as Oluwaseun Adegunsoye, a 400 Level Law student, according to sources, was said to have disguised as a Muslim worshipper, covering herself with a veil, and lined up at the upper chamber of the mosque reserved for females. It was gathered that that trouble started during the service when a female student of the school who was seated among female worshippers suddenly shouted, “Jesus will soon come, you should accept Christ as your Lord and Saviour .
