Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Pride

Abu Huraira (RA) reported Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) as saying: There was a person who walked with pride because of his (fine) mantles and well pleased with his personality. Allah made him sink in the earth and he would go on sinking in that until the Day of Resurrection. (Sahih Muslim, Book 37, Hadith 82)

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Ghusl

Aws bin Aws (RA) narrated: "Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said to me: 'Whoever performs Ghusl on Friday, and bathes completely, and goes early, arriving early, gets close and listens and is silent, there will be for him in every step he take the reward of a year of fasting and standing (in prayer).'" (Jami`at-Tirmidhi, Vol. 1, Book 4, Hadith 9)

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Paradise

Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri (RA): Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said, "When the believers pass safely over (the bridge across) Hell, they will be stopped at a bridge in between Hell and Paradise where they will retaliate upon each other for the injustices done among them in the world, and when they get purified of all their sins, they will be admitted into Paradise. By Him in Whose Hands the life of Muhammad (peace be upon him) is everybody will recognize his dwelling in Paradise better than he recognizes his dwelling in this world." (Sahih al-Bukhari, Vol3, Book 46, Hadith 1)

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Ayatul Qursi

Narrated 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud (RA): "Allah has not created in the heavens nor in the earth what is more magnificent than Ayat Al-Kursi." Sufyan said: "Because Ayat Al-Kursi is the Speech of Allah, and Allah's Speech is greater than Allah's creation of the heavens and the earth." (Tirmidhi Vol. 5, Book 42, Hadith 2884)  How wonderful! Try to read Ayatul Qursi every morning as soon as you wake up, and every evening before you sleep.

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Death

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "None of you should wish for death. Either he is a doer of good, so perhaps he may do more good, or he is an evildoer but perhaps he will give up his evil ways." (Sunan an-Nasa'i, Book 21, Hadith 1)

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Marriage

It was narrated from Aishah (RA) that: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: “Marriage is part of my sunnah, and whoever does not follow my sunnah has nothing to do with me. Get married, for I will boast of your great numbers before the nations. Whoever has the means, let him get married, and whoever does not, then he should fast for it will diminish his desire.” (Sunan Ibn Majah, Vol. 3, Book 9, Hadith 1846)

Abu Huraira (RA) reported Allah's Apostle (peace be upon him) as saying: Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, will take in His grip the Earth on the Day of Judgment and He would roll up the sky in His right hand and would say: I am the Lord; where are the sovereigns of the world? (Muslim Book 39, Hadith 6703) That day will be worth equivalent to how many days? Anyone know?

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Effort

It was narrated that ‘Aishah (RA) said: “When the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) came to a sick person, he would make supplication for him, and would say: Adhhibil-bas, Rabban-nas, washfi Antash-Shafi, la shifa’a illa shifa’uka shifa’an la yughadiru saqama (Take away the pain, O Lord of mankind, and grant healing, for You are the Healer, and there is no healing but Your healing that leaves no trace of sickness).’” (Sunan Ibn Majah, Vol. 4, Book 31, Hadith 3520) Did you know there is great reward in visiting people who are ill. Immense reward! If you know someone who is unwell, make the effort to go visit them.

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Supplications

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah (RA) that: the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "There are three supplications that will undoubtedly be answered: the supplication of one who has been wronged; the supplication of the traveler and the supplication of a father for his child." (Sunan Ibn Majah, Book 34, Hadith 36)

Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri (RA): A man came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and said, "My brother has some Abdominal trouble." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said to him "Let him drink honey." The man came for the second time and the Prophet (peace be upon him) said to him, 'Let him drink honey." He came for the third time and the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Let him drink honey." He returned again and said, "I have done that ' The Prophet (peace be upon him) then said, "Allah has said the truth, but your brother's `Abdomen has told a lie. Let him drink honey." So he made him drink honey and he was cured. (Bukhari Vol. 7, Book 71, Hadith 588)

Ibn 'Abbas (RA) narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever lies about having a dream, he will be required to knot two barely kernels together on the Day Of Judgment, and he will never be able to knot them together." (Jami`at-Tirmidhi, Vol. 4, Book 8, Hadith 2283)

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Hell Fire

Narrated Abu Huraira (RA): Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said, "Your (ordinary) fire is one of 70 parts of the (Hell) Fire." Someone asked, "O Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) This (ordinary) fire would have been sufficient (to torture the unbelievers)," Allah's Apostle said, "The (Hell) Fire has 69 parts more than the ordinary (worldly) fire, each part is as hot as this (worldly) fire." (Sahih al-Bukhari, Vol. 4, Book 59, Hadith 75)

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Sickness

Aishah (RA) narrated: "Whenever one of the wives of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) became (feverishly) ill, he would order that some broth be prepared. Then he would tell them to take some of the broth. And he would say: 'It firms the heart of the grieved, and it rids the worries from the heart of the ill just as one of you removes dirt from her face with water." (Jami`at-Tirmidhi, Vol. 4, Book 2, Hadith 2039)

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah (RA) that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “If you say to your companions: ‘Be quiet’ on a Friday while the Imam is delivering the sermon, you have engaged in Laghw (idle talk or behaviour).” (Sunan Ibn Majah, Vol. 1, Book 5, Hadith 1110)

It was narrated that Hudhaifah (RA) said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'The Dajjal (False Christ) is blind in his left eye and has abundant hair. With him will be a Paradise and a Hell, but his Hell is Paradise and his Paradise is Hell.'" (Sunan Ibn Majah, Vol. 5, Book 36, Hadith 146)

It was narrated from 'A'idh bin 'Amr (RA) that: a man came to the prophet (peace be upon him) and asked him and he gave him, and when he placed his foot on the threshold the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "If you knew how bad begging is, no one would go to anyone else and ask him for anything." (Sunan an-Nasa'i, Vol. 3, Book 23, Hadith 2587)

Salman bin Amir Dabbi (RA) narrated that: the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: “Charity given to the poor is charity, and that given to a relative is two things: charity and upholding the ties of kinship.” (Sunan Ibn Majah, Book 8, Hadith 62)

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Mothers

Abu Huraira (RA) reported that a person said: Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him), who amongst the people is most deserving of my good treatment? He said: Your mother, again your mother, again your mother, then your father, then your nearest relatives according to the order (of nearness). (Muslim - Book 32, Hadith 6181) Look at the status of mothers in Islam. How comforting and wonderful :)

Narrated Anas bin Malik (RA): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Facilitate things to people (concerning religious matters), and do not make it hard for them and give them good tidings and do not make them run away (from Islam). Abu Hurairah (RA) said: "A man asked the prophet (peace be upon him): 'O Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), we travel by sea and we take a little water with us, but if we use it for Wudu', we will go thirsty. Can we perform Wudu' with seawater?' The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Its water is a means of purification and its dead meat is permissible.'" (Sunan an-Nasa'i, Vol. 1, Book 2, Hadith 8)

Anas (RA) narrated from the Apostle (peace be upon him) about the major sins. He (the Holy Prophet) observed: Associating anyone with Allah, disobedience to parents, killing a person and false utterance. (Sahih Muslim, Book 1, Hadith 166)

Narrated Abu Musa (RA): I heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) many times say: When a servant of Allah is accustomed to do a good work, then becomes ill or goes on journey, what was accustomed to do when he was well and staying at home will be recorded for him. Abu Bakr As-Siddiq (RA) said: "O you people! You recite this Ayah: Take care of yourselves! If you follow the guidance no harm shall come to you. I indeed heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) saying: 'When the people see the wrongdoer and they do not take him by the hand, then soon Allah shall envelope you in a punishment from him.'" (Jami`at-Tirmidhi, Vol. 4, Book 33, Hadith 11)

Abu Huraira (RA) reported Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) as saying: A woman may be married for four reasons: for her property, her status. her beauty and her religion, so try to get one who is religious, may your hand be besmeared with dust. (Sahih Muslim, Book 17, Hadith 68)

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Bedtime

Narrated 'Aisha (RA): Whenever the Prophet (peace be upon him) went to bed every night, he used to cup his hands together and blow over it after reciting Surat Al-Ikhlas, Surat Al-Falaq and Surat An-Nas, and then rub his hands over whatever parts of his body he was able to rub, starting with his head, face and front of his body. He used to do that three times. (Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 66, Hadith 39) A beautiful way to finish the day 

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Respect

Narrated Mu'awiyah al-Qushayri (RA): I went to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and asked him: What do you say (command) about our wives? He replied: Give them food what you have for yourself, and clothe them by which you clothe yourself, and do not beat them, and do not revile them. (Sunan Abi Dawud, Book 12, Hadith 99) Islam came to respect women. Women have a very high status in Islam. Alhamdulillah!

Narrated Abu Hurayrah (RA): When the Prophet (peace be upon him) congratulated a man on his marriage, he said: May Allah bless for you, and may He bless on you, and combine both of you in good (works). (Sunan Abi Dawud , Book 12, Hadith 85)
