Today's Beautiful Hadith is about the Market of Paradise

Anas b. Malik (RA) reported that Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said: In Paradise there is a street to which they would come every Friday. The north wind will blow and would scatter fragrance on their faces and on their clothes and would add to their beauty and loveliness, and then they would go back to their family after having an added lustre to their beauty and loveliness, and their family would say to them: By Allah, you have been increased in beauty and loveliness after leaving us, and they would say: By Allah, you have also increased in beauty and loveliness after us. (Sahih Muslim, Book 53, Hadith 15) Alhamdulillah, just one of the amazing blessings of Jannah.

Today’s Beautiful Hadith is about Rasoolullah's Features

Abu Hurayrah (Radiallahu anhu) says: "Rasulullah (Sallallahu alaihe wasallam) was so clean, clear, beautiful and handsome, as though his body was covered and molded in silver. His hair was slightly curled.": (Shama'il Muhammadiyah, Book 1, Hadith 11)

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Livelihood

Narrated Anas bin Malik: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Allah has appointed an angel in the womb, and the angel says, 'O Lord! A drop of discharge (i.e. of semen), O Lord! a clot, O Lord! a piece of flesh.' And then, if Allah wishes to complete the child's creation, the angel will say. 'O Lord! A male or a female? O Lord! wretched or blessed (in religion)? What will his livelihood be? What will his age be?' The angel writes all this while the child is in the womb of its mother." (Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 60, Hadith 8) SubhanAllah for this reminder of creation and qadr. Everything is as it should be and as it has been written. Know that the only thing that repels destiny is prayer, so turn to Allah with all your hearts and show gratitude, then ask of Him.

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Families

Narrated Malik (RA): We came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and we were young men nearly of equal ages and we stayed with him for twenty nights. Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) was a very kind man and when he realized our longing for our families, he asked us about those whom we had left behind. When we informed him, he said, "Go back to your families and stay with them and teach them (religion) and order them (to do good deeds). The Prophet (peace be upon him) mentioned things some of which I remembered and some I did not. Then he said, "Pray as you have seen me praying, and when it is the time of prayer, one of you should pronounce the call (Adhan) for the prayer and the eldest of you should lead the prayer." (Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 95, Hadith 1) What a beautiful hadith! When travelling or away from our families we miss them and long for them. This wonderful reminder teaches us to teach them and be an example to them at all times, especially in the pra

Today’s Hadith is about Generations

Narrated `Abdullah (RA): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "The best people are those of my generation, and then those who will come after them (the next generation), and then those who will come after them (i.e. the next generation), and then after them, there will come people whose witness will precede their oaths, and whose oaths will precede their witness." (Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 81, Hadith 18) From which generations did HABIB MARKAZ AGÉGE from Western Nigeria & DR. GUNMI from the Northern Nigeria came from to condemned people of the above GENERATIONS

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Pride

Narrated Abu Hurayrah (RA): A man who was beautiful came to the Prophet (peace be upon him). He said: Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), I am a man who likes beauty, and I have been given some of it, as you see. And I do not like that anyone excels me (in respect of beauty). Perhaps he said: "even to the extent of thong of my sandal (shirak na'li)", or he he said: "to the extent of strap of my sandal (shis'i na'li)". Is it pride? He replied: No, pride is disdaining what is true and despising people. (Sunan Abi Dawud, Book 34, Hadith 73)

Today's Hadith is about Adornment

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (RA) that: The Prophet (peace be upon him) saw a boy, part of whose head had been shaven and part had been left. He forbade that and said: "Shave all of it, or leave all of it." (Sunan an-Nasa'i, Book 48, Hadith 9) Thank you for being a member of our global community and have a blessed day and just before you go, say Alhamdulillah and start your day by earning blessings :)

Today's Hadith is about Good Fortune

It was narrated from Hakim bin Mu'awiyah (RA) that his paternal uncle Mikhmar bin Mu'awiyah (RA) said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: 'Do not believe in omens, and good fortune is only to be found in three things: A woman, a horse and a house."' (Sunan Ibn Majah, Vol. 3, Book 9, Hadith 1993) This hadith refers to the blessings of a good companion, a reliable means of transport and a place to live. So many have these today yet are still ungrateful. Say Alhamdulillah for all we have!

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Respect

Narrated Abu Huraira (RA): A black man or a black woman used to sweep the mosque and he or she died. The Prophet (peace be upon him) asked about her (or him). He was told that she (or he) had died. He said, "Why did you not inform me? Show me his grave (or her grave)." So he went to her (his) grave and offered her (his) funeral prayer." (Sahih al-Bukhari, Vol. 1, Book 8, Hadith 106) The status we see of someone on the outward is not always a reflection of the inward. Someone could seem insignificant or wayward in one’s eyes but what is in their hearts will carry them to Jannah insha’Allah. A reminder not to judge anyone and honour everyone.

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Sneezing

It was narrated that Anas bin Malik (RA) said: "Two men sneezed in he presence of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and he replied (said: YarhamukAllah; may Allah have mercy on you') to one and not to the other. It was said: 'O Messenger of Allah(peace be upon him), two men sneezed in your presence and you replied to one and not to the other?' He said: "'This one praised Allah(said Al-Hamdulillah fter sneezing) but that one did not.'" (Sunan Ibn Majah, Book 33, Hadith 57)

Today’s Message is about the Gift of Knowledge

Abu Hurairah (RA) said: “I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) saying: ‘This world is cursed and what is in it is cursed, except the remembrance of Allah (dhikr) and what is conducive to that, or one who has knowledge or who acquires knowledge.’” (Hasan, Darussalaam, Vol. 5, Book 37, Hadith 4112)

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Preaching

Narrated Abu Wail (RA): `Abdullah (RA) used to give a religious talk to the people on every Thursday. Once a man said, "O Aba `Abdur-Rahman! (By Allah) I wish if you could preach us daily." He replied, "The only thing which prevents me from doing so, is that I hate to bore you, and no doubt I take care of you in preaching by selecting a suitable time just as the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to do with us, for fear of making us bored." (Sahih al-Bukhari, Vol. 1, Book 3, Hadith 12) What a lovely reminder about etiquette. The art of speaking and knowing when to say something and when to be silent has been lost in modern times. This reminds us of the care and consideration the Prophet (SAW) had with his speech.

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Allah’s Presence

Ibn 'Abbas (RA) narrated: "I was behind the Prophet (peace be upon him) one day when he said: 'O boy! I will teach you a statement: Be mindful of Allah and He will protect you. Be mindful of Allah and you will find Him before you. When you ask, ask Allah, and when you seek aid, seek Allah's aid. Know that if the entire creation were to gather together to do something to benefit you- you would never get any benefit except that Allah had written for you. And if they were to gather to do something to harm you- you would never be harmed except that Allah had written for you. The pens are lifted and the pages are dried.'" (Jami` at-Tirmidhi, Vol. 4, Book 37, Hadith 2706) Alhamdulillah for this. This is one of our favourite hadiths and says so much. Allah is always there and will always protect you. If you remember Allah, He will remember you. Share this with someone who needs to read it and increase your own blessings insha’Allah!

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Greetings

Narrated `Abdullah (RA): I used to greet the Prophet (peace be upon him) while he was in prayer and he would return my greeting, but when we returned (from Ethiopia) I greeted the Prophet (while he was praying) but he did not return the greeting, and (after finishing the prayer) he said, "In the prayer one is occupied (with a more serious matter)." (Sahih al-Bukhari, Vol. 2, Book 21, Hadith 20)

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Souls

It was narrated from Jabir bin 'Abdullah (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "O people, fear Allah and be moderate in seeking a living, for no soul will die until it has received all its provision, even if it is slow in coming. So fear Allah and be moderate in seeking provision; take that which is permissible and leave that which is forbidden. " (Sunan Ibn Majah, Book 12, Hadith 2227) A reminder about rizq. Nothing can take what Allah has permitted and ordained for you. Trust in Allah. He will never forsake you and you will get what is allotted to you.

Today's Hadith is about Kindness to Parents

It is reported on the authority of 'Abdullah (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) observed: The best of the deeds or deed is the (observance of) prayer at its proper time and kindness to the parents.   (Sahih Muslim, Book 1, Hadith 162) What a wonderful hadith that mentions the high status of prayer at its proper time and then kindness to parents. Alhamdulillah. We only have our parents for an allotted time, treat them well, learn from them and benefit from their company while you can.

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Kindness

'A'isha (RA), the wife of Allah's Apostle (peace be upon him), reported that Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said: 'A'isha, verily Allah is kind and He loves kindness and confers upon kindness which he does not confer upon severity and does not confer upon anything else besides it (kindness). (Sahih Muslim, Book 45, Hadith 99) A reminder to nurture a quality that Allah loves: kindness. A beautiful word that encapsulates so much. Be kind to all and expect kindness from Allah.

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Loving Allah

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas (RA):  that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Love Allah for what He nourishes you with of His Blessings, love me due to the love of Allah, and love the people of my house due to love of me." (Jami`at-Tirmidhi, Vol. 1, Book 46, Hadith 3789) What a wonderful reminder to be loving and grateful for all we have. Everything is from Allah. That which we remember and are grateful for and that which we forget. If we tried to count our blessings from Allah, we’d never finish counting. Alhamdulillah.

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Islam

It Is narrated on the authority of Abu Malik (RA): I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: He who professed that there is no god but Allah and made a denial of everything which the people worship beside Allah, his property and blood became inviolable, and their affairs rest with Allah. (Sahih Muslim, Book 1, Hadith 37)

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Eid Day

Abdullah bin Buraidah (RA) narrated from his father: "The Prophet would not leave on the Day of Fitr until he ate, and he would not eat on the day of Adha until he prayed." (Jami`at-Tirmidhi, Book 5, Hadith 13)

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Eid

Narrated Al-Bara (RA): I heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) delivering a Khutba saying, "The first thing to be done on this day (first day of `Id ul Adha) is to pray; and after returning from the prayer we slaughter our sacrifices (in the name of Allah) and whoever does so, he acted according to our Sunna (traditions)." (Bukhari Vol. 2, Book 15, Hadith 71)

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Al-Hajj-ul-Mabrur

Narrated Abu Huraira (RA): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Whoever performs Hajj for Allah's pleasure and does not have sexual relations with his wife, and does not do evil or sins then he will return (after Hajj free from all sins) as if he were born anew." (Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 25, Hadith 9) We are born pure and free of sin, and the blessed pilgrimage to Allah’s House makes the sinner pure again. Let us all aspire to perform Hajj for Allah’s pleasure and remember each other in all our duas insha’Allah.

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Hajj Reward

Abdullah (bin Mas'ud) (RA) narrated that: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Alternate between Hajj and Umrah; for those two remove poverty and sins just as the bellows removes filth from iron, gold, and silver - and there is no reward for Al-Hajj Al-Mabrur except for Paradise." (Jami`at-Tirmidhi, Vol. 2, Book 9, Hadith 2)

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Sacrifice

Abu Hurairah (RA) narrated that: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "The fast is the day the people fast, the breaking of the fast is the day the people break their fast, and the sacrifice is the day the people sacrifice."   (Jami`at-Tirmidhi, Book 8, Hadith 16) Don’t forget to fast the 9th of Dhul Hijjah - the day of Arafah - as an expiation of sins from the preceding and current year.

Today’s Beautiful Hadith is about Qurbani

Today’s Beautiful Hadith reminds us of the traditions of this beautiful celebration: It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that a man slaughtered on the Day of Sacrifice, (meaning) before the ‘Eid prayer, and the Prophet (peace be upon him) ordered him to do it again. (Sahih, Darussalaam, Vol. 4, Book 26, Hadith 3151) Don’t forget to give your sacrifice by donating your Qurbani this Eid. The Qur’an teaches us that giving Qurbani on the first day is better than the second, and the second is better than the third.

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Meat

It was narrated that ‘Aishah (RA) said: “The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) only forbade storing the meat of the sacrifices because the people were facing hardship. Then later he permitted that.” (Sunan Ibn Majah, Vol. 4, Book 26, Hadith 3279)

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Ihram

Ibn Umar (RA) narrated: "A man stood and said 'O Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)! What clothing do you command us to wear in Al-Haram?' The Messenger of Allah said: 'Do not wear shirts, nor pants, nor burnooses, nor turbans, nor Khuff - unless one does not have any sandals, then let him wear Khuff, but let him cut them below the ankles. And do not wear any cloth that has been touched by saffron or Wars. And the woman in Ihram is not to cover her face, nor wear gloves.'" (Jami`at-Tirmidhi, Book 9, Hadith 26) In this hadith, Wars refers to Al-Wars, a yellow scented plant used for dyeing garments.

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Talbiyah

Ibn Umar (RA) narrated: "The Prophet would say the following for the Talbiyah: "Labbaik Allahumma labbaik. Labbaik la sharika laka labbaik. Innal-hamda wan-ni’mata laka wal-mulk, la sharika laka." ('I respond to Your call O Allah! I respond to Your call. You have no partner. I respond to Your call. All praise, thanks and blessings are for You. All sovereignty is for You. And You have no partners with You).'" (Jami`at-Tirmidhi, Vol. 2, Book 9, Hadith 18) Teach this to your children and may Allah bless all of us to respond to Allah’s Call.

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Performing Hajj

Qatadah (RA) narrated: "I said to Anas bin Malik (RA): 'How many times did the Prophet (peace be upon him) perform Hajj?' He said: 'He performed one Hajj and he performed four Umrah: An Umrah during Dhul-Qa'dah; the Umrah of Al-Hudaibiyah, and Umrah with his Hajj, and an Umrah from Al-Ji'irranah when he divided up the war spoils of Hunain.'" (Jami` at-Tirmidhi, Vol. 2, Book 9, Hadith 8)

A Special Request on the Best Days of the Year

“By the dawn and by the ten nights..” (The Holy Qur’an, 89:1-2) Alhamdulillah, the blessed days of Dhul Hijjah are here. The first 10 days of this month are more beloved to Allah than any other days. During these 10 days we have the combination of prayer, fasting, Hajj and charity – imagine the blessing and power of these wonderful days! Narrated Ibn `Abbas (RA): The Prophet (pbuh) said, "No good deeds done on other days are superior to those done on these (first ten days of Dhul Hijjah)." (Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 13, Hadith 18) _Increase your good deeds during these first 10 days, make the intention to read the Qur’an every day, practice the surahs you’ve forgotten, send salawats on the beloved Prophet SAW and give in charity with good intentions. May Allah accept all your efforts._ *Ameen!*

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Covering Sins

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: “Whoever covers (the sin of) a Muslim, Allah will cover him (his sin) in this world and in the Hereafter.” (Sunan Ibn Majah, Vol. 3, Book 20, Hadith 2544) A beautiful reminder as many are quick to judge and point out the faults of others.
