Today's Hadith is about Kindness to Parents



It is reported on the authority of 'Abdullah (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) observed: The best of the deeds or deed is the (observance of) prayer at its proper time and kindness to the parents.
 
(Sahih Muslim, Book 1, Hadith 162)

What a wonderful hadith that mentions the high status of prayer at its proper time and then kindness to parents. Alhamdulillah. We only have our parents for an allotted time, treat them well, learn from them and benefit from their company while you can.

Prophet Musa (Moses) Peace be upon him

The Prophet Musa (Moses)suffered terribly from his people and endured much for sake of Allah. Abdullah Ibn Umar narrated: 'One the Prophet Muhammad SAW distributed something among his companions, a man said this distribution has not been done with justice seeking Allah's countenance,i went to the Prophet SAW and told him of what the man said, he became so angry that i saw the signs of anger on his face , then the Prophet Muhammad SAW said: May ALLAH bestow his Mercy on Prophet Musa (Moses)for he was harmed more in worse manner than this yet he endured patiently. The Children of Israel mistreated Prophet Musa (Moses)a lot. His agony was not limited to mutiny, stupidity, chattering ignorance and idolatry it exceeded this and went as far as inflicting personal harm on him.
